Eyeglass lenses
When it comes to eyeglass lenses, our optical staff will consider your work and leisure activities, as well as your daily commute, to recommend lens options that will meet the specific visual needs of your lifestyle.
We offer high-quality lens options, including polycarbonate, Trivex, and high index plastic, that can be treated for added benefits such as UV-blocking, photochromic, scratch-resistant coating, and glare control coating. We offer several types of eyeglass lenses to suit different vision needs, including single vision lenses, bifocal lenses, trifocal lenses, and progressive lenses.
- Single vision lenses have one dioptric power throughout the entire lens and are used to correct vision for both near and far distances.
- Bifocal lenses have two prescriptions separated by a dividing line, with the top of the lens correcting for farsightedness and the bottom correcting for nearsightedness.
- Trifocal lenses have three prescriptions separated by lines and correct for faraway, intermediate, and near vision.
- Progressive lenses also have multiple prescriptions, but they offer a smooth transition between prescriptions without the use of visible lines.
